New England Forestry Relocates Main Office

New England Forestry Consultants, Inc. would like to announce that our main office, formerly located in Groton, Massachusetts has been moved to Warner, New Hampshire.

NEFCo clients should see no difference in the high quality services provided by NEFCo and will only notice a change due to the different address on the NEFCo letterhead.

After much consideration and debate, it was decided that it would be more efficient to locate the main office in an area more centrally located to the many NEFCo center offices that are located throughout New England.

NEFCo is also proud to announce that Kristin Brooks has joined NEFCo as the Accountant and Office Manager.  Kristin will be located in the new main office in Warner, New Hampshire.

Kristin is a native of Keene, New Hampshire and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1992 at Franklin Pierce College.  For the past eight years, Kristin has been working for consulting companies in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  She has lived in various parts of the country, including Vermont, Colorado, and California.  The Northridge earthquake in 1994 brought Kristin back to New England for good!  Kristin is now settled in North Sutton, New Hampshire on Kezar Lake with her husband Keith and five year old daughter, Grace.

The new NEFCo main office mailing address is:  1 East Main Street, Unit 4, P.O. Box 609, Warner, New Hampshire 03278.  The new NEFCo main office phone number is 1-866-609-6332.

New Upper Connecticut Center

New England Forestry Consultants, Inc. is happy to announce the establishment of the new Upper Connecticut Center located in Danville, Vermont.  Kurt Zschau has joined NEFCo as the center manager and will be covering northern Vermont and New Hampshire.

Kurt brings a significant amount of experience to NEFCo.  Previously, he was the field forester on 85,000 acres of conserved timberland in northern Vermont.  In this position, Kurt supervised multiple logging crews, marketed raw materials, and implemented silvicultural prescriptions.  Kurt also worked as part of a team achieving green certification for this land.

Along with bringing "on the ground" experience, Kurt volunteers on a working lands subcommittee for his town planning commission.  He also is an adjunct instructor at Sterling College in Craftsbury Common, Vermont where he teaches Forestry Techniques and Woodlot Practices.  He currently serves as Secretary of the Consulting Foresters Association of Vermont and is an active member of both the Society of American Foresters and the Forest Stewards Guild.

Kurt lives in Danville, Vermont with his wife, Tracy and their son, Thomas.  We are very excited about the addition of Kurt to the NEFCo staff and are confident that he will maintain the high level of standards and professionalism that our clients have come to expect from NEFCo.
