Robert Forrester of Belmont, Massachusetts and Woodstock, Vermont is a member of our Board of Directors. Bob is a retired partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where he spent his career as an auditor. Bob was admitted as a partner in the firm in 1981. His experience as an auditor includes small businesses, multi-national corporations, higher educational institutions, research institutes and health care providers. Bob earned an AB from Amherst College, MA from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Bob also serves on the board of Quimby Country, Whitehead Institute and The Center for Blood Research, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. He formerly served on the boards of Oxfam America and Family Services of Greater Boston. Bob is involved in the management of his family´s woodlot in Woodstock and the woodland owned by Quimby Country. Bob brings a wealth of managerial experience to our company.

William B. Leak is a Research Forester with the Northeastern Forest Experiment Station, U.S. Forest Service. After receiving B.S. and M.F. degrees from the N.Y.S. College of Forestry, and a couple years in the U.S. Army, he joined the Experiment Station in 1956. Following short assignments in Vermont and the headquarters office in Pennsylvania, he has spent the remainder of his career working on silvicultural research and site relationships in New Hampshire.

Edward DeVenne, is the Clerk for New England Forestry Consultants, Inc. Ed has been employed by the New England Forestry Foundation, Inc for over 10 years and is presently their Director of Finance and Administration. Ed had been the shared Controller for NEFF and NEFCo from 1995 through 2002. Ed is responsible for all of the financial reporting and company wide administration for NEFF. Prior to joining NEFF, Ed was the Chief Financial Officer for Carlson Companies, Inc. a privately held residential real estate company based in Salem MA for over 7 years. Ed holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Northeastern University and has over 25 years of experience.

Dennis D. McKenney, New Hampshire LPF and Licensed Land Surveyor, is the President of New England Forestry Consultants, Inc. and district manager for the Monadnock region. He is responsible for the southern region of New Hampshire. Dennis has been with our company for over 28 years and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. He provides the standard forestry services and as a licensed surveyor, performs boundary surveys for both subdivision and conservation easements. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1974 with a B. S. in Forestry. Dennis is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters of America, NH Timberland Owners Association, S.P.A.C.E. (NH's Current Use Coalition), and the Society of American Foresters.

David L. Kent, New Hampshire LPF is a Vice President and the Keene district manager for New England Forestry Consultants, Inc. He is responsible for southwestern New Hampshire, north central Massachusetts and southeastern Vermont regions. During the 25 years David has worked for our company, he has provided complete forest management services to our clients, including timber sales, management plans and timber appraisals. He graduated cum laude in 1978 with an A.A.S. degree in Forest Technology from State University of New York. David is a member of the NH Timberland Owners Association and a Cheshire County Inspecting Forester for the NH Tree Farm Program.

John McClain serves on our Board of Directors and is the Green Mountain district manager for New England Forestry Consultants, Inc. He is responsible for the central Vermont region. Before coming to our company, John ran his own forestry business, Forest Resource Associates, for twelve years. He currently manages 40,000 acres of private lands by producing management plans and administering timber sales as well as providing a full range of forestry related services. He is Chair of the VT Current Use Advisory Board, a member of the Consulting Foresters of VT and of the Society of American Foresters. John also is a Tree Farm Inspector and a former Logger Education to Advance Professionalism Program Project Forester. He holds a B. S. degree in Forest Management from the University of Massachusetts.
